Snooker even though a pocket billiards game technically has a general classification. This is because of its historical divergence from the other cue sports and its terminology as well as culture.
Besides these three, there are also games which have targets and obstacles and have disks rather than balls. The history of Billiards dates back to the 15th century. It also finds mention in a Shakespearean play called Antony and Cleopatra.
